Joe is a highly accomplished aerospace professional with a career spanning more than 35 years. He has held various leadership positions, has served on government and industry regulatory committees, and is the former President of the Australian Certified UAV Operators Association. Previously, Joe was appointed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia as a member of the Australian Government’s Strategic Aviation Industry Consultative Council (AICC) and worked on hypersonic drone programs and airspace integration initiatives. Joe has a strong background in both civilian and military regulations and has worked with both multinational and startup organisations. Joe is a member of the Airbus Star Program, has led the attainment of ‘first-of-kind’ approvals for the Boeing AEW&C aircraft modification program, has trained at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, and has served on NASA’s Airspace Operations Safety Program (AOSP).
