Monte leads our information-related capabilities across the corporation, playing a key role in shaping commercial, capability, and technical strategy.

Throughout his career, Monte has successfully led teams in solving complex strategic challenges, particularly in emerging technologies. As a Signal Captain in the Australian Military, he oversaw multiple specialist capability development projects, including initiatives involving autonomous drones, earning one of Australia’s highest military commendations.

Monte’s academic achievements reflect his dedication to excellence. He was named Top Army Cadet upon graduating from the Australian Defence Force Academy and later graduated at the top of his Corps from the Royal Military College Duntroon. He holds formal qualifications in leadership, management, government, business, information systems, and cybersecurity from institutions including the Royal Military College Duntroon, the University of New South Wales, Texas A&M University, PeopleCert and the SANS Institute.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Monte is a passionate footballer, having represented both Australia and New Zealand at the national level.
